About the Artist
Hi, my name is Sloan! (cis - she/her)I'm a Canadian artist and illustrator that's from and based in friendly Manitoba! My artwork is a collection of moments - such as memories of my Grandparents's prairie garden, or little sparks of joy and magic found by living everyday life.
To me, it's a form of practicing gratitude and curiosity of the natural world.
Tools & Mediums
For my digital artwork, I use Clip Studio Paint EX and a Huion drawing tablet, though it often starts as a sketch on paper. Despite being digital, I love my work to have an organic, textured watercolour feeling. Additionally, I'm experienced in Photoshop and other software.For my traditional art, I use anything from pen & pencil, to watercolour and Copic markers. I love learning new mediums!All my artwork is completely human-made;
you'll never find artificially generated images here.

Process
To begin: contact me with detailed information and image references about your commission. I'll ask for details about what poses, atmosphere, expressions, etc that you'd like in the illustration. Please be specific so I can accurately draw what you're looking for!Commissions are paid up front.
Refunds are only available before you approve the sketch.I will update you with screenshots for you to approve or request adjustments. Adjustments past the line art stage should be minor (i.e., once I start colouring, redrawing the nose is available for an extra fee.)Once the illustration agreed upon as complete, I'll send you an unwatermarked, high res, non-layered file.
I normally post commissions to social media, however if you don't want it posted publicly for whatever reason, please let me know in advance.
